In a low-scoring game between the Biloxi Shuckers and the Jackson Generals, pitcher Mason Pelio was masterful on the mound. The Biloxi right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-1 win. Biloxi pitcher Greg Wilbraham got the win. He's now 3-2. Geoffroy Castelucci was tagged with the loss. The Shuckers go to 27-52 with the win.

It could have been a different outcome for Biloxi, had it not been for Garrett Callen, the 22-year old center fielder . Callen contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Biloxi up, 3-1.

"I had everything working," said Pelio.
