Blue Wahoos Trip Shuckers, 5-4, in Extra Innings
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos picked up a win at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium, knocking off the Biloxi Shuckers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Kevin Matthews played a key role in the triumph. Tyler Bernstein, now 1-1, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 0. Biloxi has now lost 5 in a row.

The Blue Wahoos relied on designated hitter Jacob Young for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Young.
