Jumbo Shrimp Win 4-3 Walk-Off

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp topped the Jackson Generals, 4-3, in Southern League action at Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The standout performance belonged to Jacksonville pitcher and Queens, New York, native Greg Rush. Jacksonville has now won 3 straight, while the Generals have lost 3 in a row.
The Jumbo Shrimp procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Steve Powell. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Jacksonville manager Tim Bogar. "It's usually not just one thing."
