Midland RockHounds starter Glenn Albanese turned in an exceptional performance against the Corpus Christi Hooks at Security Bank Ballpark, resulting in a Midland win, 2-1. The save went to Cecil Black, number 1 for him. With their winning streak at 5, the RockHounds have raced to a strong start this season.

Midland catcher Scotty Moss contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball into center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 3rd hit of the season and put the RockHounds ahead, 2-1.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Moss told the Midland Gazette.
