The Frisco RoughRiders picked up a win at Dr Pepper Ballpark, knocking off the Midland RockHounds, 5-0. On the mound for Frisco was right-hander Jonathan Stiever, who played a pivotal role in the win. The RoughRiders, now 4-2, have played some good baseball in the early going.

The RockHounds had trouble solving Stiever, who surrendered no runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Stiever said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
