Rodríguez Helps Kannapolis Cruise to 11-3 Win
The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers stopped the Delmarva Shorebirds, 11-3, at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. The Cannon Ballers got a big game from Lorenzo Rodríguez, who went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 4. The Cannon Ballers, with just their 8th win so far in 2023, have yet to catch fire.

Stephen Paolini aided the Kannapolis cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Paolini told the Kannapolis Gazette.
