The Frisco RoughRiders beat the Corpus Christi Hooks, 5-0, at Whataburger Field. Frisco left fielder Marcus Kent had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 4 with 3 doubles. He scored 3 runs. Corpus Christi has now lost 4 in a row.
Frisco grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Kent, who is tied for 10th in the TEX in stolen bases with 5, hit a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season put the RoughRiders out in front, 1-0.
