Mariners Lose By a Run at Milwaukee, 2-1
|
Forrest Whitley was locked and loaded, helping the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Seattle Mariners, 2-1. With their winning streak at 4, the Brewers have raced to a strong start this season.
Nick Pratto was 1-3 with a walk for Milwaukee. The 25-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Cole Kelley. It was his 2nd walk of the season.
"I like what I saw today," said Milwaukee manager Quintin Berry, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
