Cardinals Scratch Out 1-0 Win
|
Springfield picked up a win at ONEOK Field, bumping off the Tulsa Drillers, 1-0. Pitcher Adam Mazur was a major reason the Cardinals emerged victorious. The Cardinals sport a record of 34-57.
Carl Washington, the 24-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Washington contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Springfield up, 1-0.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Mazur said.
