Arkansas catcher Easton Dean was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Frisco beat the Travelers, 5-4. Hayden Juenger got the save, his 23rd in 24 chances. The win gives Frisco a season record of 64-34.
Frisco relied on the hitting of John Bazemore to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the RoughRiders on top, 5-4. For the game, Bazemore had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Arkansas manager Josh Holiday.
