Andy Kennedy did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Frisco RoughRiders from losing, 6-4, to the Arkansas Travelers at Dickey-Stephens Park. Kennedy was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Tony Locey picked up the save, his 27th. The North-leading Travelers are 67-32.
Arkansas took a 6-4 lead on Wilmer Flores's 16th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Flores hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Frisco pitcher Luke Murphy shaking his head.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Flores.
