The High Desert Mavericks got a good effort from starter Jeff Fitzsymons in defeating the Inland Empire 66ers at BB&T Coastal Field. The final score was 2-0. Getting the save was Brent Humphrey, his 2nd. High Desert is off to a hot start at 5-1.
