In the 6-4 Lancaster win over High Desert, the impact of Nathan Malone was substantial. Malone went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Landon Knack earned the save for Lancaster, his 4th of the year. Lancaster is third in the South with a record of 38-39.

Malone had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-0 fastball from Pete Smith, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the JetHawks a 6-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Malone.

Malone called the triumph "a good team win."
