San Jose picked up a win at Lake Elsinore Diamond, bumping off the Lake Elsinore Storm, 7-4. Pitcher Sean Burke was a major reason the Giants emerged victorious. Jason Kramer recorded the save, his 21st. The Giants are now 69-49, while the Storm fall to 52-66.

San Jose used a well-timed hit by Isaiah Fisher-Smith to capture the win. The left fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Giants ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"This win gets us that much closer to where we want to be," Fisher-Smith said in postgame remarks.
