Visalia third baseman Allen Griffin had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Griffin was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 2, even as Stockton beat the Rawhide, 7-6. With the win, Stockton has a record of 64-55. Visalia falls to 53-66.

Elly De La Cruz was the walk-off hero for Stockton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ports third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said De La Cruz.
