Hunter Howland went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Ben Joyce closed the game out for Inland Empire, earning his 5th save. The South-leading 66ers are 72-51.

Inland Empire used the clutch hitting of Patrick Kawahara to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the 66ers the lead, 6-3. For the game, Kawahara had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

Howland said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
