Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Dash
Wilmington had no answer for Winston-Salem Dash hurler Jack Aldrich, who overwhelmed Blue Rocks hitters as the Dash coasted to victory, 7-1. The Dash, at 63-53, sit in third place in the South.

Winston-Salem needed the clutch hitting of John Stinson to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dash on top, 2-1. For the game, Stinson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
