The Colorado Rockies beat the Minnesota Twins, 11-3, at Coors Field. David Kandilas, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Scott Meeligan, the winning pitcher, improved to 13-9. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 9 and walking 0.
