The Texas Rangers topped the Seattle Mariners by a score of 16-6. Leading the way was designated hitter Richard Fields. Fields hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for the Rangers. Texas pitcher Jamie Widner got the win, upping his record to 13-10. Landon Sims got the loss.
