The Lakeland Flying Tigers got a superb performance from pitcher Robert Ahlstrom, but the Florida Fire Frogs still won the game, 4-3. Ahlstrom threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. The win moves Florida to a record of 3-5.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 3-3, right fielder Logan Jones won it for Florida. With the bases loaded, Jones hit a 0-1 fastball from Will Quick for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 4-3 win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Jones.
