Martínez Leads Tortugas to 8-0 Win over Tarpons
Daytona rode a good effort from starter Orlando Martínez to beat the Tampa Tarpons at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark. The final score was 8-0. The Tarpons fall to 7-9 and continue their lackluster start to the 2024 season.

The Tarpons had trouble solving Martínez, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 6.1 innings.

"We had a nice day," said Daytona skipper Craig Counsell.
