Jose Salas helped his team muscle past the Lakeland Flying Tigers, 8-0. In the game, the Daytona shortstop was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Earning his 1st save for Daytona was José Torrijos. Daytona goes to 12-7 with the win.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark seemed to enjoy watching the Florida State League action.
