Tarpons Win 3-2 Walk-Off

Led by Brayden Thomas, the Tampa Tarpons defeated the Bradenton Marauders, 3-2. Thomas was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Tarpons. Tampa reliever JP Massey picked up the win, raising his record to 1-3. Jared Johnson was tagged with the loss. Tampa now sits at 18-24, while Bradenton falls to 19-22.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Tampa trailing 2-1, Thomas hit a fastball from Jared Johnson for a 2-run home run, giving the Tarpons the walk-off win.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Thomas said.
