The St. Lucie Mets got a superb performance from center fielder Jason Thompson, but the Lakeland Flying Tigers still won the game, 6-2. Thompson was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Chris Clarke. He tossed 93 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 11 hits.
