Wilderd Patino left his imprint on the 5-4 Daytona win against the Dunedin Blue Jays. Patino, who is tied for 10th in the FLO in extra base hits with 19, was 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. Adrián Romas nailed down his 6th save. The Tortugas have an impressive 36-22 record.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, Steve Schypinski was at the plate when Daytona scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Tortugas to go in front, 3-2.
