The Daytona Tortugas did just enough to secure a victory over the Tampa Tarpons, 4-3, at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark. Nobody did more than second baseman Jacob Young. The win belongs to Adrián Romas in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Jakob Brustoski took the loss for Tampa. Daytona leads the North by 4 games.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Young hit a fastball from Jakob Brustoski for a run-scoring single. The Tortugas, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This place was rocking at the end," Young said.
