The Dunedin Blue Jays got a superb performance from pitcher Jagger Haynes, but the Daytona Tortugas still won the game, 5-4. Haynes threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The winning pitcher was Romain Chevalier. He's now 6-2. He went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Tortugas. Daytona now has a record of 66-54 with the win.

Daytona used the timely hitting of José Rodríguez to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Tortugas on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Daytona manager Craig Counsell.
