The St. Lucie Mets topped the Clearwater Threshers, 6-0, in Florida State League action at Carpenter Complex. The game was highlighted by the performance of St. Lucie pitcher Griffin McGarry. The win puts St. Lucie at 72-49 this season.

The Threshers had trouble solving McGarry, who surrendered no runs on 3 hits over 8.2 innings.

"Winning never gets dull," said McGarry.
