The Daytona Tortugas got a sterling performance from pitcher Romain Chevalier, but the Clearwater Threshers still prevailed, 7-4. Chevalier threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Aaron Haase notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record now sits at 3-1. Peyton Drew was credited with the save for Clearwater, his 18th of the season.

Clearwater took a 5-3 lead on Tony Segura's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Daytona pitcher Masyn Winn in the bottom of the seventh.

"It feels good to get this one," Segura told the Clearwater Observer.

With the win, Clearwater pushed its record to 73-65.
