Lugnuts Sneak By Dragons, 3-2

The Lugnuts grabbed a win, 3-2, at Fifth Third Field, overcoming a fine effort from Dayton pitcher Lucas Vazquez. Vazquez went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. The Lugnuts, now 4-1, have stormed out of the gates.
Mike Gray, the 25-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Gray contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Lansing up, 3-2.
"Nice win for us," said Gray. "Now we'll go after the next one."
