The Bowling Green Hot Rods and Fort Wayne TinCaps were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Fort Wayne TinCaps got a magnificent performance from pitcher Daniel Braun, who muffled the Bowling Green offense en route to a tight 3-0 TinCaps win at Bowling Green Ballpark. Braun, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks.

Mario Rojas, the 25-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rojas contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put Fort Wayne up, 2-0.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Rojas. "And not try to do too much."

The Hot Rods drop to 12-13 and continue their mediocre start to the 2024 season.
