The Los Angeles Angels defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-0, in American League action at American Family Field. Los Angeles pitcher Kyle Funkhouser had a standout performance. The Brewers drop to 11-16 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2023 season.

Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by Gleyber Torres to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Angels ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Enjoyed this one," Torres told the Los Angeles News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
