Timber Rattlers Snatch Late Win
|
2024 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Clinton LumberKings.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers topped the Clinton LumberKings by a score of 8-4. Leading the way was left fielder Cam Fisher. Fisher was 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit 2 times, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Timber Rattlers. With this game in the books, Wisconsin is 48-61, Clinton 40-69.
Wisconsin used a timely hit from Juan Parra to get the win. The second baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Timber Rattlers ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Parra said.
