Skipper Jirschele Shown the Door in WDL Saturday, November 13th , 2021 WDL is now without a skipper after the announcement of manager Justin Jirschele's firing earlier today. Sources close to the AL West are saying that Jirschele had lost the confidence of the players and had allowed apathy and selfishness to take over the clubhouse. The WDL front office was unavailable for comment on the matter other than to confirm the manager's firing. A BNN poll done immediately after the announcement went public showed fan reaction seems mixed. "Glad that bum is gone," said one disgruntled fan. Several others were displeased with the decision, telling reporters, "Jirschele did the best he could with the talent and money he had." No timetable has been set by the team for announcing a replacement. |
