Manager Yost Leaves, Dismissed by WDL Monday, November 20th , 2023 The WDL Lahaina Sharks are looking for a new manager after announcing the release of Ned Yost today. Present at the press conference were WDL owner The owner of the WDL Lahaina Sharks and GM GM. "We need a fresh new start," the club's owner said. "I felt for a number of reasons, we needed new direction, invigoration and to play with more enthusiasm." "I had a wonderful time with the Lahaina Sharks," Yost told BNN. "They gave me a great opportunity. They revived my interest in baseball and really gave me a great opportunity to expand my career. I'm more grateful for the job they gave me than I am saddened and upset by the firing." "We've got a lot of work to do," general manager GM said, "and in the next several days we're going to sit down and examine all aspects of the operation. We will proceed with a search as soon as we possibly can and see if we can't set things in motion for the future of this franchise." |
