WDL's Premier Player for 2019 Named

Millard Thomas took Winter Developmental League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 23.

For his spectacular campaign, the WDL NL East star has been named the 2019 Winter Developmental League WDL MVP recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the left fielder.

On the season he compiled a .337 batting average to go with a .440 on-base percentage. The native of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida also added 7 doubles, 1 triple, 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and 18 runs scored.

He received 4 first place votes out of a possible 6. Jaime Vega of the WDL NL East finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Yordan Alvarez of the WDL NL Central finished third.
