Trouble in Los Angeles, Otero Suffers Setback Sunday, November 14th , 2021 A frustrated Andy Otero told reporters today that he would be out an additional 5 weeks after suffering a relapse in his recovery from elbow tendinitis. "I thought my recovery was coming along great, but then this happened," the Los Angeles Angels reliever revealed. "It's disappointing. I expected to be back with the team by now." Otero has parlayed 398 games and 461.2 innings of work into a 35-31 lifetime record with 99 saves and 502 strikeouts. In his career he has fashioned a 2.94 ERA with 502 strikeouts and 126 walks. |
