Boston Red Sox Ship Helms to St. Louis Sunday, April 24th , 2022 In a move that has left many fans wondering, the Boston Red Sox have traded 20-year old minor league RHP Hunter Helms and 20-year old minor league 3B A.J. Vukovich to the St. Louis Cardinals. In return, the Red Sox receive 28-year old RHP Zach Potter. St. Louis will retain a portion of Potter's remaining contract. Potter has collected 32 wins and 32 losses over his career with a 4.03 ERA. The 28-year-old hurler also has struck out 484 batters in 555.2 innings and allowed 513 hits. |
