White and Cornelio Swapped Saturday, April 30th , 2022 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for Oakland and Seattle confirmed an agreement. The Athletics dealt 26-year old minor league 1B Evan White to the Mariners for 21-year old minor league RHP Riley Cornelio and 22-year old minor league LHP Lawrence Laffe. Oakland will retain a portion of White's remaining contract. This year White is hitting .167 with 11 hits, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and has scored 5 runs. |
