Baker's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Friday, June 10th , 2022 The Seattle Mariners fell to the Boston Red Sox in T-Mobile Park today, even as 30-year-old left fielder Mark Baker upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Baker finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Mariners from dropping the 6-2 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Baker. Mark Baker grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Baker is batting .311 with 17 home runs. He has scored 50 runs and driven in 52. |
