Deal: Puig for Rendon Sunday, June 19th , 2022 The rumor has been out there for a while now and today it was made official. The Chicago White Sox have sent 31-year old RF Yasiel Puig, 22-year old minor league 2B Taylor Davis, and 26-year old minor league 1B Connor Phillips to the Washington Nationals for 32-year old 3B Anthony Rendon and 24-year old minor league LHP Erik Miller. Puig is hitting .222 this season with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 38 hits in 171 at-bats. This year Rendon is batting .195 with 4 home runs. He has scored 34 runs and driven in 20. |
