Los Angeles, Pittsburgh Make Trade Tuesday, July 5th , 2022 Los Angeles and Pittsburgh announced some roster changes today as the Dodgers acquired 31-year old RHP Shao-qi Fung, 32-year old SS Andrelton Simmons, 24-year old minor league SS Tanner Morris, and $4,000,000 in cash from the Pirates in exchange for 30-year old 2B Chad Scott, 33-year old LHP Mike Montgomery, and 21-year old minor league RHP Lenny Torres. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Thus far this year Scott is hitting .253 with 2 home runs, 23 RBIs and 32 runs scored. Currently Simmons has 1 home run and a .192 batting average. |
