July's NL Batter of Month Award Announced Monday, August 1st , 2022 To survive in the bigs, you've got to be a scrapper like Bryce Harper. It never pays to take a day off from the batting cages or to shrug off the advice of the hitting coach. It all paid off today as Arizona's right fielder pinned down the National League Batter of the Month trophy today. He hit .353 in July collecting 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 26 runs scored. So far this year in 95 games Harper is hitting .297 with 30 home runs, 68 RBIs and 77 runs scored. |
