Season Ends for Munoz Thursday, August 4th , 2022 Andres Munoz had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the New York medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The New York reliever suffered radial nerve compression in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. So far this year Munoz has made 38 relief appearances with 7 saves, thrown 47.2 innings and struck out 67 with a 4-3 record. |
