More Injury Problems for Washington's César López Thursday, August 11th , 2022 It was learned today in Washington that shortstop César López would miss more time because his recovery from an elbow contusion was not going as well as expected. The Nationals, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that López would only miss 5 days more. Thus far this season in 104 games López is batting .231 with 24 home runs, 62 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has 89 hits in 385 at-bats. |
