Toronto, Kimbrel Hammer out New Deal Friday, August 12th , 2022 Blue Jays fans were divided today as Toronto confirmed that the front office has signed Craig Kimbrel to a 2-year extension at a rate of $10,000,000 per year. While many were enthusiastically behind the signing, others worried about Kimbrel's age. Kimbrel has made 37 games so far this year with 16 saves. In 42.2 innings he has dished out 57 strikeouts and walked 17 with a 1-4 mark and a 2.74 ERA. |
