Guardians Mathematically Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 31st , 2022 The Cleveland Guardians were certainly not a team of destiny this year and now they have been eliminated from playoff contention. "We thought we had a better chance than this," said reliever Craig Parker. "It's a big disappointment." The Guardians have missed the playoffs 9 times in their 11 years as a MLB Pro franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2013. |
