Nationals, Blue Jays Trade Players Friday, November 8th , 2024 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Nationals and Blue Jays have consummated a trade. Toronto will receive 28-year old RHP Jackson Kowar in a swap for 22-year old minor league RHP Will Lucas, 28-year old minor league LF Will Ward, and 22-year old minor league RHP Case Williams. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction." Kowar has chalked up a lifetime ERA of 3.94 with 23 victories and 29 defeats. He has totaled 432 career strikeouts in 455 innings while holding opponents to a .255 batting average. Lifetime Ward is hitting .249 and has totaled 7 home runs. |
