Bad News for Ibarra and Arizona Sunday, November 20th , 2022 Juan Ibarra is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a sprained ucl. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Diamondbacks sent the 28-year-old reliever back to the doctors for reexamination. Ibarra told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Ibarra will now miss a minimum of 5 days. Since breaking into the league, Ibarra has compiled a 23-20 mark, has pitched in 229 games and has been credited with 93 saves and a 2.98 ERA. |
