Colorado Trades Galvis for Minnesota's Macklin Friday, May 14th, 2021 31-year-old minor league SS Freddy Galvis will now be playing for the Minnesota Twins and 30-year-old minor league RF Xavier Macklin will be suiting up for the Colorado Rockies. The trade was announced today at a press conference by club officials. Minnesota will retain a portion of Macklin's remaining contract. In his 773-game career Galvis has hit .264 with 621 hits, 28 home runs, and 218 RBIs and has scored 281 runs. In his career Macklin has played in 256 games with a .229 batting average. Among his 156 hits are 31 doubles, 4 triples and 11 home runs. He also has scored 85 runs and driven in 66 runs. |
